1. About these terms
These terms apply to every order placed on GEMU. By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that the delivery details you give us are accurate.
2. Prices and payment
All prices are shown in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) and include applicable taxes. Two prices are shown for most products:
- Smart Pay price — the lower price, available when you pay online by card or bank through PayHere.
- Cash on Delivery price — payable in cash to the courier at your door.
The price charged is always the price recalculated on our server at the moment you place the order. If a price on the site is wrong because of a technical error, we will contact you before dispatch and you may cancel at no cost.
3. Orders and acceptance
Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we confirm dispatch. If an item turns out to be unavailable after you order, we will tell you and refund any amount already paid in full.
4. Delivery
We deliver island-wide. Delivery is Rs 350, and free on orders over Rs 10,000. Estimated delivery windows shown on the site are estimates, not guarantees, and may be affected by weather, courier delays or public holidays.
5. Cancellations
You may cancel any order free of charge before it is dispatched by calling or messaging us on +94 70 627 2727. Once an order has been dispatched, our returns policy applies instead.
6. Warranty and liability
Products carry the manufacturer's warranty where one is offered. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer under Sri Lankan law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of a product.
